The New East India Company is based in Jacksonville Florida and has a Caribbean location in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. This firm resources fine home furnishings from around the world with an emphasis on Asia. Vibha Hutchins, the owner, was born in India and finished her undergraduate studies in Bombay. She got her Masters Degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in New York. In 1989 Vibha established her import and design business and began procuring fine furnishings from India and the Far East. Her design work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Florida Design and other publications. Vibha speaks English, French, and three Indian languages and is conversant in other Asian dialects.

The New East India Company has become the leader in the supply of exclusive pieces from this region on account of the owner's first hand training and knowledge of the subject coupled with the formidable network of personnel and contacts in the resource areas. Procurement, handling and shipping is managed out of Mumbai, India by S.P. Seth of Seth Industries, the owner of a family textile and export business established in the 1950's. Another great advantage is the availability of Interior Design consultation at any level desired. This makes the decision on that one piece or an entire project, informed and expert. Completed projects include hotels and houses from St. Lucia to St. Croix to New York apartments and Atlantic Ocean front mansions and condominiums.
